Service of Notice — £25 + VAT (plus Land Registry fees)
A fixed fee covering preparation and service of up to three Adjoining Owner Notices under one instruction.
Included:
- Land Registry ownership searches (ÂŁ6 + VAT per register)
- Explanatory notes and consent forms for neighbours
- Service of the notice with a stamped addressed envelope for easy reply
- Follow-up “10 Day Notices” where a neighbour doesn’t respond
If more than three Adjoining Owners are involved, we’ll agree a fair additional fee in advance.
Building Owner Surveyor — £300 + VAT
Fixed fee per Award (excluding underpinning or basement works).
Included:
- Drafting and serving the Party Wall Award
- Ongoing guidance and support throughout the process
Discounted rates are available where multiple neighbours are involved, reflecting duplicated work.
Agreed Surveyor — From £325 + VAT
When appointed as Agreed Surveyor for both Building and Adjoining Owners.

- All costs are confirmed in writing before work begins
- Reduced rates available for Building Owners with multiple neighbours
- In most cases, the Building Owner covers surveyors’ reasonable fees, including the Adjoining Owner’s surveyor
