Who is a Building Owner’s Surveyor?
If an Adjoining Owner dissents to a notice, both parties must appoint surveyors:
- The Building Owner’s Surveyor represents the Building Owner.
- The Adjoining Owner’s Surveyor represents the neighbour.
Alternatively, both parties may agree to instruct a single impartial Agreed Surveyor, who acts for both sides.
